From the Paper:
"This boycott was an eleven-month protest that ended with the Supreme Court declaring that segregation on a bus was unconstitutional. Other acts of segregation were separate drinking fountains for blacks and whites in schools, restaurants, and various public areas, different restrooms for blacks and whites, as well as different schools. Some blacks were even deprived of the right to eat in
restaurants."
