From the Paper:
"There are many situations or circumstances that can be stressful for a leader. One of the most stressful things fro a leader may be the prospect of having to meet a tight deadline. Within the context of certain industries, meeting a deadline may be a life or death situation. As such, a leader that has the responsibility of managing people or a project that must be completed on a very tight schedule may experience a great deal of stress. One of the ways to relieve this stress is to make careful plans to ensure that the project will be completed prior to the deadline. In doing this concessions can be made for any problems that may arise. A leader may also be able to relieve stress by delegating responsibility to others, so that the burden of the project is not all on their shoulders (Hernez-Broome and Hughes)."
