This paper reviews the film 'Vanilla Sky', and discusses how the film is open to vast interpretation. Some people believe the entire film is a dream the main character, David, experiences evidenced from the words "open your eyes" being spoken to him in the beginning, and then repeated again at the end. Some believe parts throughout the film are real and some are dreamt.
