Her fictional literary works have forever changed the face of children's literature. This paper provides a biographical overview of J.K. Rowling, as well as how Adler's theories of psychology apply to her.

From the Paper:

"Kathleen Rowling was born in Bristol, England. She wanted to be a writer for as long as she can remember. In fact, at around the age five, she created her first story about a rabbit entitled simply, Rabbit. As a child, she immersed herself in books. The Rowling family moved twice during Rowling's childhood. The first was to Winterbourne, where a group of her friends included two children with the surname of Potter, which she liked very much. "
