Irradiated Foods

Paper Summary:

This paper presents the controversy concerning the safety and long-term health effects of irradiated foods. The paper argues in favor of irradiation by pointing out that it has been used for many years without problems and that many respectable studies have shown that it is not harmful. Astronauts have been eating irradiated food since 1972."
