This paper discusses the designers of information systems and their need to know the efficiency of their products. However, according to this paper, adoption of information systems often fails because the system used is in appropriate for organizational needs. The paper further discusses the use of information systems in pediatrics is especially difficult because the system has to be adapted from the adult model as children and adolescents have specific issues.
