↶ Look Inside

Paper Summary:

Learning is the result of many different approaches, many of which flourish side-by-side, and together go to make up the complex collection of thoughts and feelings that is a human being. This paper argues that the learning process is many things-- personal, impersonal, behavioral, cognitive, humanist and constructivist. It provides some insight into the way we learn.

From the Paper:

"So, while much of the learning process could be described as the growth and development of cognitive skills - skills that are formed initially by modeling adult behavior - it is also logical, and equally valid, to look at the processing of learning development as a highly individual process. Any individual, no matter how young, or old, is constantly interacting with his or her environment. Discovering the best method for these interactions is a matter of personal preference and personal needs."
