There is a substantial level of diversity within this community, which requires an appropriate level of healthcare availability for residents. Although the majority of the community is considered to be healthy, there is a subsection of the population that does not possess easy access to healthcare services for a variety of reasons, and these circumstances are examined in the following discussion, as well as the overall healthcare picture in the North Queens area, where Flushing is located."
