It looks at the casual factors shaping "Greater China" and the possible future form of "Greater China". The views of three authors, Harding, Overholt and Kao are used in this examination and compared. Finally, this essay attempts to answer the following question: will political constraints and problems be the primary limiting factors to the deeper integration that is being driven by cultural globalization and economic independence? The term "Greater China" is difficult to define, although it has existed for a long time in history. "
