This paper discusses how each person today lives in a global village. What occurs in any part of this village affects the entire village. The paper goes on to discuss how one-half of our world is developed and affluent while the remainder exists in disease and starvation. Everyone is aware of this inequity. As disease spreads, access to health care becomes more unequal. The entire village currently is threatened by nuclear conflict. We are confronted with environmental disaster that demonstrates our interdependence.From the Paper:
