This dissatisfaction is further compounded by the discrimination and harassment they encounter in their jobs. Returning to older gender roles in the 1950s isn't the solution. Instead, household and corporate cultures need to adjust for the increased participation of women in the workforce over the past forty years and the financial reality that few families can make ends meet on one income."
