Golf has also become popular spectator sport and attracts thousands of fans to tournaments with millions more watching on television. As a result, professional golf has become a multi-billion dollar industry today. The sport continues to be dominated by affluent white males who, in many cases, however, appear reluctant to share their domain with their female or minority counterparts."
