"Comparison of New Jersey and Nevada Gaming LawsThis paper will look at the development of gaming law in New Jersey since the legalization of casino gambling in 1976. The paper will compare these developments to the law in Nevada concerning casino gambling. The first part of the paper will discuss the general policy considerations underlying the legalization of gambling in both states. The second and third parts of the paper will examine the licensing requirements and procedures in both states. The fourth part of the paper will briefly look at the agencies charged with enforcing the laws in both states. The fifth part of the paper will discuss the developments in New Jersey since the legalization of gambling.
