While nonprofit organizations enjoy a moral and philanthropic foundation of support based upon donors' views as to causes worthy of support from which to gather and dispense charitable resources, nonprofits do exist in a global marketplace. Only 27 percent of their revenue from private gifts, so their relationships with the business community are extensive. (Hammack and Young, 1993.)"
