Kearney unit. It serves customers in a number of different industries, including health care, manufacturing, and transportation; EDS is a also one of the largest federal government contractors. The company was spun off in 1996 from General Motors, which still accounts for about 10% of revenues (Electronic Data Systems Corporation, 2005, para. 1).
