Enormous changes are happening in our society, with businesses and . governments having a crucial role in shaping those changes as they move traditional operations into an e-business model. This paper shows that no organization,large or small, public or private, can afford to ignore the impact of these new technologies. Leaders in every sector must fundamentally alter the way their organizations do "business" and interact with their customers in order to manage this change successfully. This paper shows that managing the change process and creating a model that improves the level of service to customers is the key component of success. The e-revolution is being driven by the ordinary demands of ordinary people, and if the business organizations do not adapt to the demands of their customers, the customers will more than likely take their business elsewhere.
