"Due Process Defined and Delineated

Ewing (1989, 4) refers to due process as corporate due-process. He defines this term as " ... effective mechanisms and procedures for ensuring equity and justice among employees." The extension of due-process is guaranteed by the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments to the Constitution, which provide protection from one's deprivation of life, liberty and property without due process. While employee due process is seldom guaranteed by more than organization policy and procedure, in that laws tend not to be involved, equity is indeed at issue for workers. "In effect, the corporation [or government entity] says that no employee should be deprived of his or her job and well-.."
