Summary

From the Paper:

"The catalyst of any organizations' ability to attain agility and remain competitively strong in an increasingly turbulent global business environment is leadership. The essence of any organizations' agility with regard to their organizational processes, people and systems is the ability to lead with insight while fostering and nurturing a high level of collaboration interdepartmentally. Empirical studies and theories abound on the topic of leadership and its transformational role in organizations, the role of leadership relative to management, and the implications of emotional intelligence (EI) and trust on leadership effectiveness. Leadership has often been said to be who you are and management is what you do."
