However, it appears that this issue has not been as thoroughly discussed as to benefit students with disabilities. It is well known that support helps students with special needs to succeed, and college is a crucial period for such aid, as the course content is more demanding than in earlier years of schooling. While support systems still need to be analyzed in order to create more fluid and efficient programs, support is what allows students with developmental disabilities to be successful in a college environment.
