This paper explains that conflict is an inevitable reality in any organization whenever there are a group of people who come from varying backgrounds attempting to work together to achieve a common goal. The author points out that nonverbal communication is essential because it allows organizations to detect deception in interviews and makes managers aware of the messages they are sending to employees. The paper relates that one of the positive attributes of conflict within an organization is that it allows the organization to fix the problems that have caused the conflict and one negative impact is that tasks often get left undone, decreasing productivity and hurting the company.

In turn, they will know that their opinions matter and are taken into consideration by management. The ability to communicate and formulate solutions in this manner will lead to greater employee satisfaction. Greater employee satisfaction will lead to increased productivity and the ability to meet organizational goals. Once employees and managers understand the benefits of effective communication they can work together to develop better communications skills."
