This paper examines how due to the nature of military operations, it is not possible to disclose detailed information about work and discusses the general nature of the flow of communication at a military entrance processing station.

"All organizations have a certain flow of communication between management and workers. This fact is equally as true of the military as it is of the private sector. If anything, it is perhaps more specialized. Due to the nature of military operations, it is not possible to disclose detailed information about this work; however, this paper will discuss the general nature of the flow of communication at a military entrance processing station. The military entrance processing station (MEPS) is one stop along the recruitment process. After an initial screening, a recruit will travel to the MEPS, where he or she will take the Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test if it has not already been taken, be medically screened, take part in a pre-enlistment interview, and finally take the Oath of Enlistment ("Understand," n. d.). The staff at MEPS consists of both civilian and military personnel."
