History of Chiropractics: While most individuals credit Daniel David Palmer as being the father of chiropractics (Phillips, n.d.) when he performed his first spinal manipulation on September 18, 1895 in Davenport, Iowa, spinal manipulation and associated therapies can be traced back to the times of Hippocrates (NCAHF Position Paper, n.d.) and early osteopathic physicians."
