In all, about 44 percent of the labor force is Bahrainis, indicating the extent of dependence upon foreign workers. Recent reports indicate that unemployment is particularly high among the young, a condition exacerbated by a natural population growth rate that is outstripping economic growth and the emirate's capacity to create jobs, again, another important reason to go into project management, which has a history of creating jobs."
