This paper discusses how today's society is faced with numerous environmental and ecological problems of such proportions that they are now endangering the health and well being of the world's human population. Business is largely responsible for such major disruptions and changes in the world's ecological system. The paper further discusses how human actions have contributed to endangerment and in some cases even the disappearance of many species of plants and animals.
