While it doesn't really matter whether a person is born gay or made gay through environmental factors it has become a side bar to the great debate about gay rights in America. As the debates continue there is more pressure than ever to determine if it is a biologically driven desire that cannot be controlled or if it is a choice one makes about lifestyle. The answer will be important for the gay rights activist who believe they should not be left out of health, dental and other benefits based on the fact that they are homosexuals."
