It is anticipated that changes based upon age are evident throughout society, as maturity levels are unique for each person, and age group serves as a basis for these differences. In the context of conformity, it is anticipated that members of younger populations are more likely to engage in conformist behaviors rather than those in adult-aged groups, such as elderly persons. The following discussion evaluates the level of conformist behaviors for two specific age groups, young people between the ages of 10-13, and elderly persons between the ages of 80-83."
