This paper examines how not only has the World Wide Web changed the structure of education, but how it is the best suited learning environment for today's children. It looks at how, although integrating the Web into the educational curriculum is very expensive and requires that teachers be retrained, the advantages of taking this step are invaluable because this will improve the quality of education and encourage learning.
From the Paper:
"The web has been integrated into the school system in most countries, but not in Egypt. This fact can have very negative effects on the country, especially since our educational system is already underdeveloped in comparison to many other nations, and especially the industrialized ones. In other words, our traditional educational system already offered a poor quality of education compared to the traditional system in other countries. Furthermore, these countries are revolutionizing their educational system by introduced the Web as an educational tool, while Egypt is standing still. The result will be that the gap between our educational system and that of the rest of the world will grow too large for us to ever catch up."
