The paper examines "A Love in Germany" that was filmed during World War II, located in a town called Brombach. The disintegration of the Third Reich was a possible time frame. The paper describes how the women and children of Brombach seem to be happy as they eat candies such as lolly pops decorated with sugar swastikas. Yet, the paper illustrates how the inward feelings of despair hovers over families with absent fathers and husbands from war battles, which were accepted as noble sacrifices of the cause.From the Paper:
