From the Paper:

"The idea that the environmental pollution, caused by W .R. Grace and Beatrice Foods was the probable cause of leukemia in children in Woburn, first came to the mind of the Anderson family, who had moved to Woburn, a working class Boston suburb, in 1965. Only after few years of the move of the family, their 3-year- old son, Jimmy, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia as diagnosed by Dr. John Truman, an eminent pediatric oncologist at the Boston Children's Hospital."
