Art styles have been individual to the artist who created the work, however there have been definite ideas and preferences that have been heavily influenced by the era in which the patrons reside. Spanish art has been particularly interesting because of the metamorphis it has experienced throughout its history. Parts of the changes were triggered by political changes as well as religious surges. Spanish art in the 15th century was also heavily influenced by the Gothic era."
