"Impaired students at Lehigh also suffer a lot from campus lands. From a personal point of view, I find it very challenging to move around campus, for example, from my dormitory to my classes, or even to the dining hall; so I can't even imagine how difficult and frustrating it must be for someone who is in a wheelchair. In my opinion, the disabled must be very strong both physically and mentally to achieve this every day task. Furthermore, I have a friend who recently broke his leg, and he cannot walk to his classes. He needs someone who can drive him there; which is often very frustrating for him, as his normal routine is now completely changed. In his own words, he said that it is both "very tiring" and "frustrating". Having a broken leg for a few weeks or even a few months can be a real nightmare, so I can only imagine how painful it must be for someone at Lehigh who has been in a wheelchair for years, even more challenging here at Lehigh, considering the snow and ice on campus right now."
