Though some might call it luck, Oprah's rise to fame, fortune, and consequence is no accident. Her adherence to the seven characteristics of leadership, and strengths within each characteristic, directly resulted in her success. Though one can evaluate Winfrey as sufficiently strong in each of these seven areas, her leadership characteristics can be ranked from strongest to weakest beginning with vision and ending with leadership selection/development."
