Paper Summary:

The paper describes the plan for a fresco which is to be painted in a summer home in Napoli, 1475. The paper details the mural that has been commissioned, its background, the style of painting to be used, the colors of the chemise and the background or the setting of the fresco. The paper notes the challenge involved in this tremendous project, the manpower that will be needed and the time it will take.

From the Paper:

"The family room is facing the Mediterranean Sea and the wall painting is to be done on the north side. The patron does not want the whole area painted on but rather only an area 20 feet long and 10 feet high. The 10 feet area covers the floor to ceiling while the 20 feet covers two-thirds of the north wall. The ionic columns on both ends will maintain it's off white color and will not be affected by the fresco. There will be five persons painted on the fresco, the patron himself Giovanni, his wife Angela, the two daughters, Alessandra and Assunta and the son, Marco. The subject of the painting will be depicting the family as Roman gods and goddesses. The patron will be depicted as Jupiter, the god of all gods and goddesses, and he will be carrying in his right hand the thunderbolts."
