From the Paper:
"In today's fast paced world time is very important; we are often impatient and want things done as soon as possible. This especially holds true when trying to make the difficult trip across the Mexican border into the United States. Over the past decade we have learned the importance of national security, but there also must be a more efficient and more effective way of conducting security search at the border between the United States and Mexico. There are many U.S. citizens that cross the border every day on their commute to and from work and for these law abiding citizens there must be easier way to conduct security searches of commuter's vehicles that really pose no threat to the safety of the United States. There has been one new solution to this problem that was created over the last decade called Secure Electronic Network for travelers Rapid Inspection (SENTRI) that has tried to help alleviate some of the congestion between the Mexican and U.S. border. This paper will take a look at the SENTRI program and to see if it truly is accomplishing its goal of helping to speed up the security check process along the border."
