Paper Summary:

This paper describes the stores and shopping ambiance of the exclusive Mall at Short Hills in New Jersey. The paper explains that the upscale mall has evolved as property values in the area became so high that only upper and upper middle class people could afford to live in the area. Eventually, the mall's lower priced stores and their consumers, the paper relates, were priced out of this retail center and into other shopping areas, such as the more typical Livingston Mall. The paper also reveals that this mall does have problems with criminals, who are attracted by the expensive items in the upscale stores and the luxurious parked automobiles.

From the Paper:

"The main reason the Mall at Short Hills is so widely known is because of the stores it houses. A majority of stores that make up the mall are different clothing outlets, which appeal mainly to the female consumer. Many people seen shopping at the mall are white upper-middle to upper class white females carrying Louis Vuitton and Gucci bags. There are also a number of male consumers seen at the mall, usually wearing Armani suits or Ralph Lauren polo shirts.
