"I open the doors to the Premier Pet Shop with the excitement of a kid in a candy store. Today is the day I am finally ready to get my first dog. The first thing I spot is a wandering cat named Berkley. She has gorgeous long gray hair, with white paws and a white patch on her chest. Although she's loveable, I speed past her to where the dogs are. I come to a large wall with a big glass window. On the other side of the wall is a stack of kennels with 15 or 16 different dogs. Behind me are small rooms. You can pick a dog and take it into one of the rooms and play with it before you decide. A pet shop which allows such interaction is customer-friendly and preferred over one which is totally hands-off the animals."
