The following paper explores the dividing factor between these two novels which comes to be seen not as a division between good, natural cultures and bad, unnatural cultures, but rather as a division between societies that rule by technology rather than by divine intervention and human understanding.From the Paper:
The study of Utopia, an ideal no-where place, is the study of what a society must look like to create and maintains happiness for humankind. Many books have been written on the subject, and will continue to be written as long as mankind is barred from paradise.
