This paper compares three types of personality disorder - 1)The Schizotypal Personality Disorder, 2)The Borderline Personality Disorder, 3)The Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder. The paper explores all three in terms of self image, interpersonal conduct, defense mechanisms, problematic areas and cognitive style. Within each topic, the writer examines each type of disorder and how the patient suffering from that particular illness would deal with it.
