The paper examines the Windows XP operating system that includes the XP Home Edition, the Windows XP Professional and the Tablet PC Edition. The paper looks at how Windows XP improved on several features to previous Windows versions and explores the criticisms of XP. The paper then turns to Windows 2000 or Win2K and its versions and the criticisms that have been leveled against this system. Finally, the paper examines Windows Server 2003 that was the successor to Windows 2000 and notes its improvements from the 2000 version.

From the Paper:

"The nature of technology is to follow a continuous course of growth and improvement. Therefore it is natural to assume that the same be said for computer programs, especially those that have gained such popularity as the Microsoft Windows program for PCs. Windows XP, WIndows 2000, and Windows 2003 are the current favorite versions for Windows users. Each has distinct and unique properties, but share some similar features as well. Users particular needs and desires can be fulfilled by one of these versions."
