↶ Look Inside

Paper Summary:

This paper discusses the religions of Islam and Christianity. The paper describes each of the religions seperately, including, laws, beliefs and customs. It then briefly compares and contrasts the two religions and discusses their similarities and differences. The paper concludes that the religions need to understand each other in order to coexist peacefully.

From the Paper:

"Islam and Christianity share many similarities that almost make the differences seem impossible but they are there. It is interesting to see how religions drift apart from each other on certain issues. It would seem that religions that recognize Jesus, Moses, Abraham, and Adam would be able to share much more but they do not. In fact, both religions illustrate how the belief of one person can alter how a religion grows over time. Muslims recognize Muhammad and give him a unique title and great responsibility. Similarly, Christians recognize Jesus as something more than human and something much more wonderful. He is the Son of God and he sits at the right hand of God. Both men walked this earth and yet their lives took very different paths. Through understanding, we should come to tolerate our fellow man and realize that we do not have to believe the same things in order to coexist."
