"Women constitute nearly 15% of all serial murders in the United States and that number is growing the more women are included in the research. This however is not a stand of feminism, serial murder is a sickening phenomenon in America, it is the point of this paper to address the problems leading up to female serial killers such as delinquency among America's female teenagers, the cultural view of women as deviants, the stigma associated with being female and being a criminal and the betrayal of tradition which female serial killers represent."
