Paper Summary:
A paper which uses quotes from the Bible and other religious texts to show how the lives of Abraham and Moses shaped religion. The paper gives examples of encounters with God and other significant turning points in their lives. The paper compares and contrasts the two and shows how religions today view these two Biblical heroes.
From the Paper:
"A covenant is made with both Abraham and Moses as well. Abraham is promised; land, descendants and fame from Yahweh. Abraham's covenant has no stipulations or laws attached to it. This covenant determines the members of the Jewish religion for the rest of history. Moses' covenant, on the other hand, is full of laws and commandments that the Jewish people are told to follow. These laws determine the rules of Jewish religion even today."
