"The Influencer of Religious and Philosophical Factors: A Case Study Introduction The influencer or cultural factor consisting of religious and philosophical factors is highly significant for people's worldview. The concept of `worldview' refers to cultural outlooks or ways of viewing the world. As is illustrated in the case study, it is not possible to modify cultural worldviews through any logical argument (Leininger, 1992). In the sunrise model, three modes of action enable nurses to provide culturally congruent care: cultural care preservation and/or maintenance; cultural care accommodation and/or negotiation; and cultural care re-patterning and restructuring (Leininger, 2004)."
