From the Paper:

"Corporate missions should be recognizable by the personnel within the company, and subscribe to a mission statement. Here, the mission statement should be a concise, overarching guideline stating the purpose of the firm. Incorporating the ideals of the corporate mission, this statement addresses many levels of significance such as community, fiscal goals, targeted marketing, goods sold or services offered. Management or other employees who are contemplating making strategic decisions should mirror those decisions of the intended mission. One vulnerable concept of any company is ensuring that its personnel are aware of the corporate mission and subsequent guidelines. This aspect is analyzed in the following material."
