Minute details will be taken up during the development of the project plan. The project plan covers five (5) phases and follows the standards set out in the A Guide to the Project Management Book of Knowledge: PMBOK(r) Guide, Third Edition of the Project Management Institute (PMI, 2004) and the Capability Maturity Model - Integration (CMMISM) for Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Integrated Product and Process Development, and Supplier Sourcing (CMMI-SE/SW/IPPD/SS, V1.1) of the Software Engineering Institute of the Carnegie Mellon University (SEI-CMMI, 2002). The two standards are being utilized to realize the used of globally accepted standards and best practices in project management and software engineering in the development of The Fitness Center Information Systems."
