"My conception of the teacher as a leader is derived from three of the five mind scapes that have been utilized as a guiding framework in teacher training programs for constructivist leadership. The first mind scape that highlights the importance of teaching and learning for equity and high achievement requires teachers to critically reflect on their teaching practices.
