1,125 words (approx. 4.5 pages) | 3 sources | MLA | 2006 United States

Paper Summary:

This paper is a brief examination of a case study of a child called Hannah - a 9 year old girl with no specific problems or conditions. The writer uses a few childhood development theories to explains certain behavior characteristics of the child during his observation.

From the Paper:

"Observing a child merely for the sake of the observation can be entertaining. Children tend to be honest and playful in their purest sense, thereby often providing sheer delight for a subjective onlooker. However, when the observation is taken a step further and the child is examined in a psychological sense, with regard to his or her physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities and senses, even more than the initial entertainment can be gleaned from the observation."
