"LePrevost and Mazur (2005) state that National City's goal has become to setup a project priority based on the benefits to the company's internal, as well as external clients while employing the same resources as previously. The first step for NCC was to consult technical personnel to determine what information they need to prioritize accordingly. Then, the stakeholders committee was created. It is consisted of internal customers and is responsible to managing project portfolios. A "Quality Infrastructure Improvements" (QII) process was created to gather the data on each project to prioritize based on internal improvements each project had to the internal and external customers. Using the QII, internal customers compare the benefits for each project two at a time. Therefore, projects that maintain the existing production level are given priority."
