This report presents an HRD intervention for use by IDEA-X Corporation, a company that sells information to web engineers and internet marketing professionals. The paper offers a description and background on the company and then notes the diverse failings observed in the company during the needs assessment phase. These failings were said to include: the absence of a management philosophy and team, insensitivity to employee needs, an over-taxing work schedule, frequent interruption of work activities for meetings, forced consensus seeking activities, failure to tie rewards to performance, and top level misunderstandings of management style and how it can be used to increase worker job motivation and morale.
