They explained that the discrepancy between prices in Canada and the prices in U.S. is due to different living standards and the two country's different GDPs. However, they have to understand that their primary consumers, that are the senior citizens, cannot afford the high prices on the U.S. market. In a first stage, the strategy might generate additional costs, but on the long run, it is the best strategy."
